Description

Gotta say I feel like I've knocked down a couple of notches showing this stuff. Might not be much, but it's an example of what I used to draw. Just god awful poorly written completely off the handle.

Either way, Karate Man is going to remain in my past as a symbol of my innocence and starting of creativity. It was literally a good straight climb. I took an interest in it at a young age, and I stuck to it. I tend to notice people nowadays who don't art very often seem to become intimidated by peers their same age. I haven't really taken any art classes, I mean...in high school I did, but it was purely for fun and I did get an easy A out of it. My best A+ was a scratch art (where it's a black page and you scratch it away with tools to bring out the white paper under it for lines) I drew Ice Dragon Katuro and for the first time fleshed out that armor design of his. Probably the most fun I've had doing art in school.

But see, ultimately in the beginning we were all terrible at drawing. That dragon character Ekanu, I spent hours just trying to draw him once -sideways-. An easy perspective considering the angled 3D looks you can get out of things.

Anyways, that scan of comics were really mine, and there are a dozen of these terrible comics. I made a sequel to Karate Man 1# (a comic I miss so dearly to this day) Karate Man 2#. Which was considerably shorter and less inspired compared to the first one.

"A toast to fellow artists!"

*patch 1.1*

One extra line of dialogue is added to the end of this and one more drawing to contribute to it.

I have stuff from less than 2 or 3 years ago that I can't even look at. >.> The sad thing is I remember which ones I really liked and they still look like poorly drawn crud.
Needless to say, we all get better. It just takes time! Awesome Flash K! (Btw, I love the Karate man, it's so bad it's funny!)
